Kevin Como

Kevin Como is an entrepreneur based in Singapore. He is best known for co-founding BitKeep, later rebranded as Wallet, a non-custodial crypto wallet, and for co-founding , a multi-chain trading platform.

Founding and Leading BitKeep

Kevin Como co-founded BitKeep in March 2018 alongside Yan Yun. [1] This non-custodial crypto wallet launched its alpha release in May 2018 after securing a $2 million investment from Matrix Partners China. [1] Como served as the CEO of BitKeep during its formative years. Notably, he remained pseudonymous, a decision highlighted by which referred to him as the wallet's "pseudonymous CEO". [1] Under his leadership, BitKeep grew, reportedly serving over 8 million users in more than 100 countries by integrating DeFi functionalities in 2020 and launching an in-wallet swap feature in February 2021. In March 2022, the wallet added an NFT marketplace, allowing users to engage in multi-chain swaps with an average daily volume reaching $20 million. [3] However, in December 2022, BitKeep experienced a security breach caused by a hijacked APK version of the wallet, which led to leaked private keys. Como directly addressed users following this incident, laying out the company's response plans and advising affected users to migrate to new wallet addresses. [3]

In March 2023, , a cryptocurrency exchange, invested $30 million in BitKeep, becoming the controlling stakeholder and valuing the company at $300 million [3] Following the acquisition and subsequent management restructuring, Como stepped down as CEO and was succeeded by Karry Cheung, the then Chief Product Officer.
