BitDCA is a Czech crypto-finance project founded in 2022 by Jan Záruba that combines the BDCA utility token with Littlebit, a mobile savings app designed to convert everyday card payments into Bitcoin or gold investments.[1][2][8] The project links activity in Littlebit to tokenholder rewards: fees generated by user transactions are used to fund Bitcoin distributions for people who stake BDCA.[3][4]
BitDCA combines Littlebit, a card-linked savings app that allocates savings to Bitcoin or gold, with BDCA, a utility token whose stakers qualify for Bitcoin rewards funded from Littlebit transaction fees.[2][4] New Bitcoin saving in Littlebit is temporarily paused, while gold saving continues; BDCA staking rewards have been reported as live.[5][1]
BitDCA’s website and tokenomics materials report more than $2 million from shareholders and more than $6 million from the BDCA token presale, summarized as over $8 million.[2][4] A commissioned Crypto Briefing release dated December 19, 2024, reported a $2 million pre-seed.[9] EU-Startups reported €7.6 million raised on February 24, 2025, in a round led by shareholders Aleš Minx, Miloslav Vyhnal, and Vladislav Fedoš.[8] BitDCA’s LinkedIn company profile lists a $2 million pre-seed dated December 20, 2024, a €7.6 million venture round dated February 1, 2025, and an $8.4 million seed round dated March 24, 2025.[1] These sources do not establish whether the listed labels and amounts represent distinct, cumulative rounds.
BDCA listed on MEXC on February 26, 2025, at a stated price of $0.15 per token.[2][10] In the third quarter of 2025, it announced new V3 liquidity pools on PancakeSwap and Uniswap, describing them as automatically rebalanced and subject to a 0.05% fee.[2] It also said it planned further centralized-exchange listings.[2]
The project’s website reports that an official legal opinion concluded BDCA complies with regulations.[2]
BDCA runs through a custom-built smart contract on Binance Smart Chain, also called BNB Chain in BitDCA’s documentation.[2] BitDCA says CertiK audited the token and other project smart contracts; it also reports a CertiK fundamental score of 93.51 and a position in the top 5% of projects worldwide.[2] Its roadmap separately says the staking contract was audited by Ackee, which the project says found no flaws after several functions were improved.[2]
Littlebit users set a percentage and saving rules for payments made with their existing payment cards; the app applies those settings to allocate savings to Bitcoin or gold.[5][2] The project presents the app as a way to accumulate assets through everyday spending rather than by trading or timing purchases; one-time Bitcoin purchases were also listed as a planned feature.[3][2] New Bitcoin saving is temporarily paused, while previously saved Bitcoin remains with a regulated custodian and can be withdrawn; gold saving continues.[5][11]
BitDCA’s initial testing plans called for a January 2025 testing phase, followed by testing with 50–100 users in February and as many as 500 in March.[2] The project initially planned a public launch in the third quarter of 2025, but later described Littlebit as having launched publicly in the Czech Republic in the fourth quarter of that year.[2] In December 2025, BitDCA reported that the app had more than 1,000 daily active users saving Bitcoin through card payments.[1] Littlebit also reported that users had accumulated 1,500 grams of gold through everyday payments by October 5, 2025, and that it shipped its first 10-gram gold bar to a user on October 8.[6]
The project’s roadmap set targets of 10,000 Czech downloads and 100,000 users, with expansion into Central Europe listed among its plans for 2026.[2] The company-overview page states that the United Kingdom is a target for expansion in 2026.[7] BitDCA has also described possible future support for additional cryptocurrencies and the S&P 500.[5]
BDCA is a utility token associated with the Littlebit ecosystem.[2][4] Holders can stake BDCA to qualify for monthly Bitcoin rewards funded from a share of transaction fees generated by Littlebit payments.[2][3] BitDCA says rewards are sent directly to holders’ wallets and are tied to app activity rather than the company’s annual financial performance.[2] The project presents the arrangement as linking tokenholder rewards to Littlebit’s adoption and transaction activity.[4]
BitDCA reported in December 2025 that its revenue-sharing feature had gone live, with Littlebit transaction volume generating Bitcoin rewards for BDCA stakers.[1] Its website said November 2026 would mark one year of BDCA reward payouts.[2] The project has described a feedback loop in which greater Littlebit usage produces more transactions and fees, increasing the Bitcoin rewards available to stakers.[3]
BDCA has a stated total supply of 142,665,333 tokens.[4] The tokenomics site allocates 68,443,173 tokens, or 47.97% of supply, to staking; 25,008,243 tokens (17.53%) to the community, subject to a three-month cliff and 48-month linear vesting; and 17,285,300 tokens (12.12%) to the treasury, with 48-month linear vesting.[4] It lists 10,271,650 tokens (7.20%) for partnerships, also subject to a three-month cliff and 48-month linear vesting; 5,194,014 tokens (3.64%) for a liquidity reserve restricted to centralized-exchange listings and decentralized-exchange liquidity pools; 7,488,463 tokens (5.25%) for the team, excluding staked tokens; and 8,924,875 tokens (6.26%) as free-floating supply.[4]
The tokenomics site reports that 68,443,172.82 BDCA, or 47.97% of supply, was staked and that 90% of presale tokens had been staked.[4] It divides staked tokens by term, reporting 3.7% in two-year stakes, 3.6% in three-year stakes, 3.7% in four-year stakes, and 89.0% in five-year stakes.[4] The project has separately said that more than 90% of presale tokens had been staked for several years.[2]
Team allocations include a 4,166,667-token vesting schedule with a three-month cliff beginning March 1, 2025, followed by 48 months of vesting.[4] Another 3,000,000-token allocation was described as not proceeding at a BDCA price of $1, with tokens withdrawn from the contract only to a secure wallet; a separate 3,000,000-token allocation is scheduled to begin vesting over 12 months when the token price reaches $2.[4] The site also lists a four-year stake of 4,500,000 team tokens and states generally that team tokens are locked until predetermined price targets are reached.[4]
BitDCA describes itself as a privately held blockchain-services company headquartered in Prague, Czechia, and reports that its workforce is distributed across Czechia and the United States.[1] Its company-overview page identifies DNZ Holding LTD, registered in London, as a software-focused holding company established to develop, finance, and scale mobile applications.[7] The page says DNZ Holding’s wholly owned Prague subsidiary, DNZ BTO s.r.o., owns and operates Littlebit, while the holding company oversees software strategy, product development, international expansion, and partner management.[7] Software development and IT delivery are provided with Applifting s.r.o.; Elemental CoSec handles accounting, corporate administration, and company-secretarial services.[7]
Founder and chief executive officer Jan Záruba is identified with Littlebit’s founding and with blockchain experience.[2] Co-founder and head of blockchain development Ondřej Kavka is described as having entered crypto through Bitcoin mining in 2017, later leading a crypto fund, designing BDCA tokenomics, and raising more than $5 million.[2] Co-founder Jan Drahota is named as chief business officer, while Kristýna Vítová is identified as co-founder and chief administrative officer, responsible for administration, strategy, investments, operations, scaling, and innovation.[2]
Marián Lechnýř is identified as head of growth; BitDCA’s biography says he worked at NFTScoring, raised a $2.5 million Y Combinator seed round, worked with RockawayX, marketed the Cosmos ecosystem, and organized the Gateway to Cosmos conference.[2] CTO and product owner Radim Trojek is described as having more than ten years of experience as a product owner and business analyst.[2] Martin Červencl leads community management and marketing and is described as having eight years of crypto experience; the company profile lists him as Head of Business & Acquisitions.[2][1]
Named shareholders include Aleš Minx, whom BitDCA describes as a senior Czech manager who held executive and supervisory-board roles at a major financial group and later chaired the board of a multinational investment group managing €43.4 billion in assets.[2] Shareholder Miloslav Vyhnal is described as a private-equity and mergers-and-acquisitions specialist with more than 25 years of experience, including board-member and chief investment officer roles at the KKCG and RSBC groups.[2]
