Squirrel Wallet
Squirrel Wallet is a multi-EVM Web3 wallet that aims to support decentralized finance, tokenized assets, and digital identity. It provides non-custodial functionality, multichain portfolio management, same-chain swaps, and in-app token purchasing. [1]
Overview
Squirrel Wallet, introduced in 2022, is a multi-EVM Web3 wallet that aims to enhance accessibility to decentralized finance, tokenized real-world assets, and digital identity solutions. It features non-custodial functionality, multichain portfolio management, and tools for token purchases, swaps, and DeFi integration.
The wallet includes a Guardian system designed for secure social recovery. Future updates intend to incorporate Bitcoin, Solana, AI trading bots, and the $NUTS token. Currently in beta, it supports Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon, Fantom, and Avalanche, with plans to expand cross-chain capabilities. [1] [2] [3] [4]
Features
Automated Market Maker (AMM)
Squirrel Wallet includes an automated market maker (AMM) that aims to facilitate decentralized token trading by adjusting prices based on market demand. It allows users to purchase tokens without waiting for sellers, provide liquidity to earn LP tokens, and stake tokens to earn rewards. These features are accessible through the wallet's navigation interface, supporting decentralized finance interactions. [5]
Guardians
Squirrel Wallet includes a Guardian system that aims to facilitate account recovery by allowing users to choose trusted individuals, such as family or friends, to help regain access. This feature seeks to reduce the risk of asset loss due to forgotten credentials or lost keys. Integrated within the wallet, the system is designed to be user-friendly while maintaining privacy by safeguarding sensitive information during recovery. [2]
Exchange
Squirrel Wallet offers an exchange feature that aims to enable users to trade tokens instantly through an automated market maker (AMM), with transactions linked to the liquidity pool. Users can provide liquidity, earn LP tokens, and redeem them for NUTS. Transactions are recorded on the blockchain, ensuring transparency. [6]
Analytics
Squirrel Wallet aims to provide analytics for tracking token performance, including trade data, liquidity supply, price changes, and token volume. It also offers staking progress tracking, displaying Total Value Locked (TVL), Annual Percentage Rate (APR), and NUTS earned. [7]
Yield Farming
Squirrel Wallet enables users to stake LP tokens in LP Farms, with the aim of earning rewards over time. Additionally, users can stake NUTS and other tokens in Pools, where larger stakes typically result in greater rewards. [8]
Liquidity
Squirrel Wallet allows users to provide liquidity to pools by adding tokens, receiving LP tokens as rewards. These tokens can be used to earn additional rewards or redeemed for NUTS. Users can select token pairs or import their own and withdraw liquidity at any time through the wallet’s Liquidity Tab. This feature aims to facilitate decentralized liquidity provision and reward users for participation. [9]
RWA
Squirrel Wallet aims to provide support for the 24/7 trading and redemption of tokenized real-world assets (RWAs). The platform incorporates AI tools designed to assist with the optimization of both cryptocurrency and RWA portfolios. Additionally, it emphasizes non-custodial security, enabling users to maintain control over their RWAs. [2]
