2026 Edition
Coinfest Asia 2026 is planned for August 20–21, 2026, at Melasti Beach in Bali, Indonesia.[9] The fifth edition is set to use five beach clubs along the Melasti Beach coastline as a single integrated venue, marking a shift from a single-site layout to a multi-venue beach format.[9] Organizers describe it as the world’s largest crypto festival and target around 20,000 attendees from across Asia and other regions.[9]
The 2026 edition is framed around three main participant tracks: institutions, builders, and traders, with programming that includes closed-door institutional sessions, infrastructure and protocol discussions, and trading-focused content.[1] The speaker lineup combines leaders from exchanges, analytics platforms, wallet providers, and large technology firms. 2025 Edition
Coinfest Asia 2025 is scheduled for August 21–22, 2025, at Nuanu Creative City in Bali, Indonesia.[7] The edition carries the theme “Full Moon” and is expected to attract more than 10,000 attendees from over 90 countries, framing itself as one of the world’s largest crypto and Web3 festivals.[7][8]
The 2025 program emphasizes immersive Web3 experiences and cross-industry interaction. Planned activities include tournaments spanning e-sports, paintball, board games, and metaverse competitions; a trading arena featuring live trading battles; a hackathon focused on real-world challenges; and a Web3 accelerator showcase for institutions centered on real-world asset tokenization.[7] Additional elements such as Web3 gaming zones, cosplay activities, live podcast recordings, product launches, and in-person airdrops are intended to connect on-chain experiences with offline festival settings.[7][8]

2024 Edition
The third edition of Coinfest Asia took place on August 22–23, 2024, at Nuanu City in Tabanan, Bali, under the theme “Where Innovation Meets Adoption.”[6][5] The festival was hosted across multiple integrated areas within Nuanu City, including main stages, exhibition and gaming zones, breakout spaces, and community and startup areas designed to facilitate networking among thousands of participants.[6]
Coinfest Asia 2024 was projected to host around 6,000 participants from multiple countries and featured more than 150 speakers and industry figures from the global Web3 ecosystem.[6][5] Program elements included an ETH SEA hackathon at the Builders Hut area with a US$50,000 prize pool, panel discussions, project showcases, and side events such as the Indonesian Blockchain Conference organized by the Indonesian Blockchain Association.[6]

Coinfest Asia 2023, Asia’s grandest festival celebrating blockchain, Web3, and digital assets, took place in Bali, Indonesia, from August 24th to August 25th. Some of the sponsors included Fireblocks, Ripple, Pintu, Google Cloud, Algorand, Coinstore, Circle, Chainanalysis, Indodax, among others. [3]
This edition focused on the regulation of cryptocurrency and the integration of blockchain into the real economy. A key theme was merging Web2 and Web3 to attract mass users by simplifying user experiences, such as through custodial wallets and social media authentication. The event also addressed the benefits and risks of crypto-assets, regulatory issues, and institutional implementation strategies, with an emphasis on creating user-friendly “super-Dapps” for instant cryptocurrency exchange into national currencies, particularly stablecoins tied to the Indonesian rupiah.[4]
