The event featured program tracks on Open Finance, Tech Builders, Corporate Web3, and Public Policy. Topics included custody, decentralized finance, AI, scalability, web3 in luxury, NFT gaming, and European regulations like MiCA, CBDCs, and AML. ^[1]

2023 Edition

The 2023 Paris Blockchain Week hosted over 8,500 attendees, including 400 speakers and 61.3% from C-suite positions. Topics included Web3's impact on business, with LVMH and OTB Group discussing their blockchain consortium. Ebay shared its Web3 transition from Web1 and Web2, focusing on digital item collections. ^[1]

Paris Blockchain Week Summit 2020 was held virtually on the Hopin platform, from December 9th to 10th, 2020. ^[3]

Changpeng Zhao (CZ) of Binance headlined with a fireside chat. The event focused on four tracks: Tech Builders, Open Finance, Enterprise Blockchain, and Public Policy, covering topics like decentralized finance, stablecoins, and governance. ^[3]

2019 Edition

The Paris Blockchain Week, held from April 15th to April 19th, 2019, comprised a series of events under the joint High Patronage of the Ministry for the Economy and Finance and the Secretary of State for Digital Affairs. Over a dozen international events were organized, attracting thousands of attendees to discuss blockchain and crypto-assets. ^[4]

The 2019 Paris Blockchain Week Summit hosted over 100 speakers discussing the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry's latest trends and challenges. Key speakers included Cedric O, Secretary of State for Digital Affairs; David Chaum, CEO of Elixxir; QJ Wang from the Ethereum Community Fund; and leaders from companies like Currency.com, Tezos, Binance, CNN, and Ripple. ^[5]

The summit covered three main tracks: Technology, Regulation, and Investment. The Technology track explored topics like governance, consensus mechanisms, AI in distributed algorithms, decentralized data storage, interoperability, scalability, zero-knowledge proofs, and sharding. Regulation discussions focused on French crypto regulation, Security Token Offerings (STOs), self-regulation, investor protection, digital currency evolution, international cooperation, and compliance solutions. ^[5]
